I'm only going to have 4 pet food. Doubt I will place, but we'll see. I just hope to afford a second pool hall. Need to place in 4 of 5 contests, including today, to be able to afford it.

Weird thought on home sweet home. How about not pushing the home button for a certain amount of time? That is, stay in friends' cities for say, 24 hours?

Is must be something simple because the reward is measly 25 XP. Since every remotely meaningful hypothesis was tested and eliminated, the "secret" is either extremely stupid/weird/illogical or bugged. I am personally inclined to think all of the above.

I think I figured out the fever. It is about mining gold. You need a special $$ building for that.

You have to buy the land in between but once you do, you need to acquire 10 pumps to get to use. Very hard since the only way you can get them is from the trip or if friends give them to you.

I have the mine and I have been working on gold ore and processing it hoping that's "the fever got me". I mine the gold ore and then make the ingots. I am only up to 3 right now.

Welcome Murray,

Fist you only need 6 pumps. You also need to visit friends to get a pump. As time goes by playing you will accumulate the pump. I had over 100 pumps at one time.

And for chisels you hope to receive them as gifts from friends. We on the forum help each other out.

Maybe it is not ingots, just ore, because the picture shows prospecting equipment. Did you try to collect, say, 15 ore? Do you have a processing plant too?

Yes I've begun pressing it after each visit. Time consuming and tedious but I'm pregnant and don't have much else to do lol.

Has anyone tried to have nothing in their city but a basic house. At only 25 xp, it's got to be a low level achievement. Maybe start a new town and put everything in the WH to find out? Just a thought.

Hey Summer,
Just looking at your city. You have some buildings that I do not recognize: race car on top, next to that one is a stage?, next to that is cornucopia, next to ET (which looks so cool the way you set it up!) is a circus, tiger jumphouse and roman building? since I have not played for long, I am wondering about those. Just a quick note would be cool.

Just went through all of my friends and not a single gold beam... 3 days=1 beam. This may take a month.

The beam drops are definitely frustrating. Though I hear not as bad as avocados.
