There is a special achievement for upgrading to level 3, but you best get on it if you want it! My event has 2 days and a few hours and that's a tight squeeze to get all those items since they hardly drop...I mainly get experience when I empty my energy bar tapping for the items.

Well I'm on 4/4/11 at present .. Seem to be lucky this morning and getting quite a lot. I'm gonna time it and come back every time my energy is full and use them all then wait for it to replenish.

Best of luck. I need 34 clovers, 34 rainbows and 37 hats for the second upgrade.
Really hoping to expand my warehouse and garage upgraded during this phase of the ET project (limestone and beams). Then be poised to expand a lot with the next phase of territory and admin buildings. Have to save almost 1 million gold though.

Be sure to keep upgrading your garage! Those buildings can't do much for you if they sit idle most of the time because you don't have enough trucks.

My progress on the 7 million achievement .... Just hit the $3 mill mark. Just need to resist doing to many upgrades for a while. I'm trying to average getting 500K a day or more.

Yesterday, when they had those wacky 3-hr contests, I decided, what the heck, I will do it -- not to win but to sell stuff at a better price. I have 3 ranches so I produced 3 fish. Did not win, although other folks with 2-3 did. Oh well. Then I produced 3 eclairs and forgot all about it. Today when I clicked on the contest icon I got a surprise waiting for me. Not only did I get two silver medals and a vacuum cleaner, but I also received two golden wrenches.

I didn't do too badly this morning with this method. I had 27 of each when I woke this morning. Used my 25 energy and now I'm at 30 of each so got 9 of 25. Not quite as good as yesterday, but with this progress, I should easily complete this task.

I wish! I still have only one avocado. I need to buy more buses. I wish we had the ability to sell vehicles. I'd sell the cabs I stocked up on to reduce population and buy more buses.
As for treasury progress. I'm now 35-35-35. I got a nice surprise with a level upgrade this morning right after I had emptied my energy meter so got an extra 25 energy.

That reminds me. For those who don't know, pay attention to your experience meter. Make sure you empty your energy if you're getting close to level upgrade. When you upgrade to a new level, your energy meter is refilled.
This is the second time during the St. Patrick's event that my level has upgraded. I wasn't paying attention the first time and my meter was almost full so I only got 2 extra energy. This time, I was paying close attention so I got 25 extra because my energy was empty

OK, sorry. Another tip. I've always wanted to know if you had to actually collect what falls at neighbours to get the points and experience. Many of you probably already know the answer. But I have spent a lot of time collecting what falls at 45 friends every day. So I did a test this morning.
When you visit friends, you only have to click on the clean up and maintenance icons to get the credit. You do not actually have to collect what falls. This saves a lot of time.
However, I sometimes like to linger anyway because I like to see what others have done with their cities.
