Apologies if this has been discussed elsewhere but I have searched and not found the topic anywhere.
I am trying to watch a BBC studio webcam but without success. It may be because the feed is Flash but as I'm not a techie I really don't know.
Using Safari gets the response that I need to install Flash and Java so I tried three other browsers which, I infer, cope with Flash: iSwifter, vBrowse and Mercury.
iSwifter returned the BBC generated message that the service was not available in my area (I'm 12 miles from the studio!) and the other two mimic Safari by saying I need Flash and Java.
My limited understanding is that these "Flash" browsers somehow use their servers to solve the problem, which might explain why iSwifter returns the "not in your area" message if the servers aren't in the UK.
So, how can I watch a BBC studio webcam? Is there a "Flash" browser which uses UK servers, or am I barking up the wrong tree completely?
The website is BBC - Radio 5 live and that site has an orange Watch Live button if you want to try it for yourselves.
And why do I want to watc a radio programme? You'd have to ask a psychiatrist as I've been wondering myself! )
