basics of ipad????

guys what are the accessories we get with ipad ??? i am not familiar with apple, what are the things which is useful and it is not compatible while buying ipad

In my box was the iPad, some instructions, a cable to go from the iPad to a USB port, and the wall charger. Nothing else.

can we attach camera, cd or dvd player to it and does it have a usb port for flashdrives ........and is it sensible to buy both samsung galaxy tab and ipad

You need to buy the camera connection kit. You can't attach cd DVD players or flashdrives.
The iPad and galaxy tab both have their strengths and weaknesses, so best to do a bit of research. Unless money is no object and you can just go and spoil yourself
