AVI video conversion

Hi there just found this forum looks good.
Can anyone help I have an action cam that records onto an sd card but I can't get it to download directly to the
iPad as it doesn't recognise the format. Is there anything I can download to the iPad so it works.

Most Members use the third party app, OPlayer, which supports a wide variety of video formats. Check it out in the App Store.
