Greetings from Bonnie Scotland
I started my chemotherapy today and the I PAD was great.

Welcome to the forums, sorry to hear about your chemo, hope the treatment goes well and the iPad takes your mind off it a little.

I'm assuming you have an iPad2? iMovie can be purchased and downloaded in the App Store applicaiton. Just open it up and search for imovie.

Someone else can help you with the "use" bit as I don't use it!

Thanks for reply, no I have iPad one and I now know it won't load iMovie.

The first chemo went well , only 18 more to go!

Do you just want to watch movies on your iPad? I say that because iMovie is really for use with the iPad2 built-in camera. The iPad1 can play movies just fine - that's what the native Video app is for. You can download movies to your iPad from the iTunes store directly to your iPad over WiFi - no need to involve your PC.

Good luck with the chemo too - I'm also from Scotland and, today, the sun is shining!

It's easier to upload photos from your PC - to do this from the iPad you need to subscribe to a cloud storage facility, such as Apple's MobileMe iDisk. Then you can upload a photo from your iPad to iDisk and use the iDisk URL in your posting.
