apps to ftp via wifi

All apps that work through wifi to reach an IP in my ipad doesn't work

But the rest of my internet is great: 3g n wifi in other apps

Can you give some examples of the apps that you're referring to? If I understand you correctly you're also saying that you can reach the Internet OK using Safari or Mail. Can you download, say PDFs, in Safari?
