The third topic of conversation from Apple at today's (March 21st, 2016) event discussed their newest human health related projects. Apple is developing various apps and initiatives for their products to help diagnose and deal with a wide variety of health conditions, including diabetes, autism, mole mapping, Parkinson's seizures & many more.

Beyond just the various fitness related apps that Apple products can do, Apple's iPhones, iPads, Apple Watches will also help diagnose and manage various illnesses and symptoms. It gives users extra data about their health, and helps them better connect/communicate with their caregivers. It's about empowering people to take a more active role in their own care.

It's like Apple is turning their devices into mini versions of the fictional Tri-Corder device from the original Star Trek TV series! Just Amazing!

Maybe we'll see a future iPhone version with built in or Bluetooth sensors similar to those on the Apple Watch at some point in the future. This would enable heart rate and blood pressure readings without the need for an Apple Watch or a third party accessory.
