Apple Pencil in MS Word

Is it possible to use Apple Pencil as a pointer/mouse in MS Word 365 on iPad Pro? The default is for Apple Pencil to trigger freehand drawing/annotating, but I want to use it sometimes as a cursor or highlighter since it has a more precise tip than using a finger.

Not that I know of. I ran into the same issue using Excel in that I just wanted to scroll up and down my spreadsheet but all it does is draw lines. Hopefully Microsoft will listen and issue and update giving us the option.

If you choose Select Objects in the Draw tab, the Pencil will act more like your finger (even with the other tabs selected).
