suddenly the iPad won't do updates,just hangs. Please any ideas?

Have you checked your internet connection to see if it's working properly? If your download speeds are too slow, it can cause the updates to fail.

Many Tks. Yes internet is ok ,wifi, but not sure about the speeds will check
