App Store issues?

Hi,

I know this has been rehashed a number of times, but I still cannot get this to work.

I need an American App Store access to download a couple of apps. I live in Canada. I have created a new apple Id, but when I add the credit card it insists I need an American credit card. I am not able to use my iTunes card cause its only
valid in Canada.

What do I do? I cannot change my current Canadian account because there is a 0.91 credit on the account which I
Apparently cannot change to USD or spend, cause nothing is worth 0.91. But even with the credit I still require an American source of payment.

My credit card does accept American transactions? But it does not have an American billing address. I can give myself
an American address on my apple I'd, but the credit card is what causes these issues!!

Seeing red at this point. No other ideas!!!!!

Have you thought about getting a U.S. iTunes gift card? If you have friends or family in the U.S., you could get them to send you one. You could also look online for sellers.

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

As you've discovered, you do need either an American Credit Card or an US iTunes Card to buy anything in the US store. Luckily it appears that your new email account does not denote a region either, as this is a must also.
As Scifan has suggested you can buy one on the net and as you only need the number on it, this can be emailed to you after purchase. Please be aware that some of these sellers do add a premium to iTunes cards sold in this way, so best to have a look at a few first and compare prices.
