App store in foreign language

My app store on iPad 1 is showing in a foreign language in the bar at the bottom. Everything else is in English.
I have checked all settings on iPad and itunes and have tried changing from British English to English but the problem still exists. I have also tried syncing but still no joy.
Please help so I can get it back to showing English on the bar at the bottom.

Have you tried signing out of the AppStore , and then resign in?

Yes tried that. No change.

I think the app is probably reading your IP and presenting the store for the nation from which you are connecting.

I am in England and on correct App Store so that shouldn't be an issue?

Yes done that too :-(

My apps store was in Spanish following a recent trip to Spain. I tried to buy something and got a message saying my ID was only valid in the UK and to try again. When I did, it reverted to English.
