App/ program for sorting photos by date?

I have used apps that use image recognition to show your duplicate photos on your drive.
I would like to sort photos chronologically using the image meta data. This would seem to be much less technical than image recognition,so I assume it exists.doesnt matter if its iOS,Mac or pc based.

If no ideas,anyone know of a large photography forum that might be of help?

I think photo manage pro will do that. Take a look in the App Store for it.
