App not downloading

I am trying to download some apps and it is not happening. The gray icon just sits there with a waiting message. Internet connection is good. Any suggestions?

Which app? If it's iBooks, many people have this problem.

There were several apps. I fixed it by rebooting the iPad.

I have a similar problem but the app does not disappear after rebooting. I must add that it's an app beyond 20 MB and I tried to download it through 3G before I didn't know I couldn't do it. Any ideas how to delete it?

i have the same problem. how do you reboot the ipad?

Hold the sleep button until the slider chows up and slide to "power off"
