App dock Organization?

Hi, experts,

Well, I just upgraded to IOS 16.1.1 And still have no way to rearrange or oganize apps in the tiles of my choosing in the app dock.
Any thoughts on whether this feature will ever appear.

I can press and hold to enter jiggly edit mode, then slide icons around same as on the Home screen. What's your goal, if not that?

The three app icons at the right end of the dock can’t be selected or rearranged. They are the three most recently used apps.

They can, however, be removed in Settings > Home Screen & Multitasking. Not that I've removed mine. Too useful.
