Any way to make downloaded apps disappear from the cloud forever?

There are a couple of apps that got downloaded that I would like to have removed from the cloud. They were free apps, and I would prefer for them not to show up in Purchased in the iTunes App on the iPad, and in the list of Apps in the iTunes Application on the computer, and the cloud.

I contacted Apple and they inidicated that this was not possible, but, I was hoping there might be a way somehow.

Not at the moment. I do know a few developers have input this as a bug report though, so we'll have to wait and see what happens with it. I agree you should be able to completely wipe apps if so desired.
