Amazon’s Cloud Drive Photos app is Amazon’s dedicated cloud-based photos app which debuted on the iPhone in May, this year. It has now received an update that brings two important features. First of all, iOS users can upload or download videos of up to 2GB in file size or 20 minutes in duration.

But the most important change is that version 2.0 brings support for the iPad for the first time. To get the free Amazon Cloud Drive Photos for your iPad from the App Store, you will only need to have a valid Amazon account.

Amazon Cloud Drive Photos makes it easy to protect and enjoy your photos and personal videos. Get started storing the memories on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with 5 GB free. Your photos and personal videos are saved to the cloud automatically so you don’t have to worry about losing them, even if your device gets lost or damaged. Install Cloud Drive on your computer, too, so you can have your entire collection in one place.

Also, if you choose to turn on Amazon Cloud Photos’ Auto-Save functionality in the iOS version, new and existing videos and photos from the iPhone or iPad will be automatically uploaded to Amazon Cloud Drive when the device is connected to Wi-Fi.
