Hi there,

I have a ubuntu laptop and I recently got my first ipad2. My ubuntu
version is 11.10. I have a few movies on my laptop that I want to
watch on my ipad2. After a lot of searching on the internet, I came
across a website that stated how to do this.
I have followed every method on the site and have successfully
installed AirVideo on both the laptop and ipad2. I have setup the ip
address on the ipad2 to point to my laptop and the ipad2 also shows
the folder where my movie is stored but it does not show any files in
the folder. I have about 6 movies in the folder and none of them are
displayed in AirVideo on ipad2.
From the above link, I have also modified the
AirVideoServerLinux-dot-properties file to make the AirVideo ipad2
look for the correct movie folder path. I do not know what I have
missed here and I am not sure if the above website was the best to use
as a guide. I still can not watch my movies on ipad2.
Can anyone help me to getting this working? Does anyone have any other
method or ways to get this to work?
