Im aged 80 but have been working with computers since before the days of PCs. The IBM programmable punched card machine and Lyons Atlas were my bread and buter! But don't ask me programming questions for today's Apples. I did try to keep up to date with an OU course a few years back but decided - what the heck. Let the black boxes do it all for me, just as I no longer have to strip my car's gear box or take the engine out to get at the clutch! But old knowledge gets surreptitiously overtaken. For example, I'm uncertain now whether I should let my iPad battery fully discharge occasionally or if it could be damaged by keeping it 100% charged. So would some kind person tell me (I've not found the answer to this question in any forum.) :confused.
