About charging battery to the ipad

Is there any problem,if my ipad remains pluged in to the charger,as long as I am at home.
my second quetion:Is there any disadvantage that I could get ,if I charge my ipad in what ever level it is for eg. if it is 60% or 80% or what ever it is or I have to wait ,untel it reaches to the minimum?

Tes, in the 2wks that i have had my ipad, i have ran the battery down twice....im not really sure if there would be a disadvantage. ive run down the battery on ipods plenty of time....but im not expert. hopefully someone else could weigh in....

Charge it as often as you like at whatever level. Lithium ion batteries don't have memory. You are more likely to shorten the battery life by fully discharging it too often, but you'd really have to do it a lot to have a significant impact. Just plug it in whenever it is convenient.

It is recommended that you occasionally discharge the batter until the device shuts down automatically. Then you should charge it to 100%. This isn't for battery life, but to keep the battery status software on the iPad in calibrated. Once on month is more than enough, or whenever battery life and the charge indicator seem to be out of sync.

Once the iPAD gets to 80% , it will start charging in a much slower pace.
Despite what every one says, you can charge it with a USB connection to any PC, with a program named "ASUS Ai Charger"

I keep hearing about fast charging to 80% then trickle charge to full, I know what it means, but my iphone 3gs and ipad has never taken more then 2 hours total even from dead or almost dead to charge to 100%, so is there something wrong? or is that just some take longer then others to charge?

I Suggest you perform a simple test. See how much time it takes from 40% to 60% and how much from 80% to 100%.

But don't waste your time. If Apple says so - that's the way it is.

It averages 1% increase a min while charging, so no matter what apple says, it doesnt take me 4 hours to charge either of them lol so I guess I cant be the only one who's stuff charges that fast?

Thank you! Does it mean ,that I have to wait to connect it ,until my ipad reaches below 50%?

No. Charge it whenever you want. I know it's hard to believe after a decade of nicad batteries, but lithium ion batteries are not picky about when they are charged.

Even leaving them on the charger is not a problem. Modern charging circuits will stop when the battery is full and only give small burst charges when needed to for maintenance.
