With the recent drop in price for the A1489 (iPad mini 2 - 32GB wifi), I picked up a new one last night to replace my aging gen 1 iPad which won't update past iOS 5.1.1.
I use the iPad for doing basketball statistics so I prefer a case with a strap like this:

But I worry that the case, when closed, will show a wear pattern from the strap after a period of time. Is that a valid concern?
I know that Native Union makes a nice case for this, but I don't care for the way the screen cover works on that one. And it's pretty pricey too.

In addition, I would like a keyboard case too. What are the current favorites in this area? The Zagg? Logitech? Other?
