1Password is one of the best, if not the best, password apps available. It's as safe as the current state of cryptology can make it (barring exotic new technologies like quantum cryptology).

To be fair, almost all the better password apps use the same basic encryption tools and standards. Preferences are more about whether you like the UI of the app, the extra tools, and whether they will sync your passwords across all the platforms you want to use.
