Actually, AppleCare+ DOES cove damage, whether from dropping, water etc. Originally AppleCare did not cover those items, but they came out with AppleCare+which, but this is only available for the iPhone 4GS and The New iPad.

Where did you hear that they will be opening at 8 am? The Apple stores I keep calling say the info hasn't been released yet. Are you sure about this?

I would like to see them develop a screen that could be read easily in sunlight. Maybe have something where it switches or can be switched to a different screen when in sunlight.

Does anyone know what time the iPad 3 will launch at stores? Last year I believe it was 5 pm, but last year there weren't any pre-orders. I'm wondering whether they'll do an earlier launch this year, or hold to 5 pm.
