    Ipad 2 camera

Future iPads will not have a camera at all. Apple will just tell us to remember everything we see but charge us for it. We will do it because Apple says so :D

imovie on ipad2 can ONLY edit ipad videos

It's been a few month since I looked into this. Has anything replaced the Flip Mino HD as being the only plug and play (and edit) video caemra compatible with the iPad 2? I used the Flip Mino Hd for a couple of weeks but returned it. I didn't think I an expensive device should crash as...

Rumors of Ipad 3 keeping me on the fence about getting ipad 2

I had the Palm 7 until I lost it. I loved that thing. Also had a $5 data plan to buy movie tickets, check email, and news...etc. There will be many more iPads to come...how long do you want to be without one is the question.

How did I ever live without my iPad2???

We went on a trip to England with the iPad 2 and a Windows Laptop. I only turned on the laptop to recharge various USB devices. I wish I didn't spend so much on the laptop. The iPad 2 was essential in getting through our vacation :D

imovie on ipad2 can ONLY edit ipad videos

I'm currently on vacation in England. I've been editing photos and Flip Mino 720p video in iMovie. When I find wifi, I'm able to upload HD video. Using 3G only allows SD uploads. I hope Apple changes the restriction so I can eliminate the Flip and just use the Canon 7D for video.

Going to England...what GPS app to buy?

I got the iPad micro sim from Three today. I paid 20£ for 3GB. It works like a charm. The salesman thought it would take a day to work but it worked seconds after installing the sim. The map on the iPad is helping us navigate as well. I actually looked for a Three store at the mall in Watford...

imovie on ipad2 can ONLY edit ipad videos

I may try to save $180 by skipping on the Mino. Stadard definition from the Canon 5D MkII looks pretty good edited on the iPad. It's just now as easy to bring around on vacation. This is a video I found recently. YouTube - (test) Ryan and iPad2 (4/3/11) I've seen this wording on a lot of...

imovie on ipad2 can ONLY edit ipad videos

Yes. I tried many combinations and it it would go back to the USB power message. I found another website that confirms this problem and the Mino is the only thing that works.

imovie on ipad2 can ONLY edit ipad videos

CORRECTION! THE FLIP ULTRA HD does NOT work with the iPad. It needs a powered USB hub. After plugging it in to the iPad, I get the power consumption error message. You need to get the Flip Mino to be independent of software conversion as described from the previous user in this thread...

imovie on ipad2 can ONLY edit ipad videos

I didn't bother to test the Zoom Q3HD only because if it worked I might drop $300 on it and my wife would kill me. The YouTube reviews on the video weren't that special anyway. I'm very use to DSLR quality HD video so I didn't want to spend too much. I ended up getting the Flip Ultra HD 2...

imovie on ipad2 can ONLY edit ipad videos

I found that the Zoom Q3HD shoots 720p and records at 44.1khz. Gizmodo, the Gadget Guide I will be taking my iPad to a store next week to test this device. It's $300 so I don't thin I can even afford it right now. I may rather buy the latest Touch (or Flip) for video. The Zoom has great...

Review: Apple iPad 2 - More like 1.5

Agreed. I never own an iPad I but we have one at work. The weight alone is a huge improvement.

This is the best analysis I've read so far about using other video files on the iPad: Importing video in to iMovie for iPad - how to video

    Why WHITE?

We got white cuz my wife picked it. I think I would've preferred black. Our white one had lots of finger prints. The solution was a stylus :)

Your JB iPad has many benefits. There was an iOS update that stopped some USB devices from working and caused the message "connected USB device requires too much power."
