Hi, I have changed my iPad 2 screen cs it was broken. After I changed it my wifi signal strength became too low. I need to be next to my router to get a signal. Any solution for that?

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

I hope the wifi hasn't been damaged in the change of screen, I recall seeing a pulled apart iPad and they mentioned that it could very easily be damaged when a screen was replaced. I hope someone has some advice here.

Thanks Leela. If it was damaged, could it be replaced?

Sorry that's all I know. I'm hoping someone else will chime in here who has done the same thing and knows more about this.

Hi, I sent mine in to have a new back put on it because it was scratched somewhat and I wanted to make it look new. Now, my
Wireless only connects if I'm standing next to the router!

Well that's not good, who did you send it to for this, I'm really hoping it was Apple here.

Hmm. I'm having Wi-Fi connection problems also. My Network Gateway seems to be the culprit. It's a useless BigPond el cheapo piece of rubbish that they've had to replace twice already. My iPad won't connect even sitting right next to it. I suspect it due to the fact that the signal on my MacBook is very low.
