Vertical Apps

Why is it that Yahoo is VERTICAL and small on ipad2 ? That and some other apps like Instagram. Makes it hard to navigate. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Welcome to the iPad forum. It seems that you have an iPhone app for Yahoo. Most iPhone apps will be in portrait mode. There is a small circle with the number 1 (or 1x) in it. If you tap this the app will become larger, but it will stay in portrait.

Ah ha. Yes it does have x2 and it looks blurry that way. Oops. Didn't realize these were iphone apps. Thank you
