Verizon LTE "Searching" but 3G works fine

I have a MC744LL/A with Verizon as my Network provider.
I am on OS 7.0.6
WIFI works great. If I have Cellular Data ON and ENABLE LTE ON, ipad just keeps searching for the network.
When I turn ENABLE LTE OFF, I am able to get 4 bars on the Verizon Network.

Verizon states, Not our issue...you have LTE in your area...must be your HW.

My question is:
Has anyone experienced having your ipad search when LTE is enabled but gets connectivity with the network with LTE off before?
If so, how did you resolve the issue.
