Transfer contacts from iPhone to iPad?

Hi all!

I'm confused..

I thought iTunes would handle it...but no. My contacts are all on my iPhone which is linked to the same account as my iPad. I have hundreds so I really hope to avoid retyping them all.

Any ideas would be great! Thanks!!

Hi Rae

Can I just check: are you using iTunes on a Mac or a PC? The way they handle contacts is slightly different, I believe.

I hate to say...PC. My next laptop will be a Mac. Makes life so much easier on me

With your iPad plugged in click on the "Info" tab then check the "Sync Contacts" box and then click "Selected groups" you should be able to check "iphone" contacts and sync them to your iPad.
