    Using TagDisk HD which is free you can download videos directly to your iPad and watch them offline whenever you wish.

    I agree except that this method does not require a Jailbroken iPad.

    Thanks. I've been using Tube-Hunter ultra but it's been a bit hit and miss.

    Can you select your resolution/quality. I hate the poor quality of the mobile YouTube site

    This works every time and you can save any type of file that the iPad can open with it as well.
