    Anyone know if this app can be connected to google gmail account like calendar could be ?

    Not that I can find. Neither the default IMAP nor the Exchange account will sync Reminders.

    my microsoft exchange account syncs the task with ipad reminder, my mail, contacts and task are all the same account.
