When I save something to Reading List, how do I access it?

In Safari you will see at the top left side a bookmark symbol - tap this, then choose the symbol which looks like a spectacle frame.

Well, Jupiter. has already answered your question - but I was about to post several screen captures and was called away for dinner - SO, will post now just for 'visual emphasis', I guess - ;) Dave

P.S. since this is your first post, welcome to the forum! Plus, I'm assuming that you mean 'articles' saved from the Safari web browser on an iPad - correct?

As a side note, some apps will let you save to the Safari reading list. You still have to open Safari to actually read/edit them. Most of the apps that do this are RSS Readers. Mine does. There may be a few types of apps, but I can’t think of any right now.
