Problem even apple help couldnt explain

Hi there, this is a bit long winded but here it goes....

Two days ago I downloads a few albums and songs onto my iPad...I have them, they are paid for etc

Now, I bought myself an iPhone 4S today and the first thing I went to do was to get my iPad music onto my iPhone via iCloud. Except, that didn't really happen. I managed to get all the songs that I bought from iTunes prior to the ones a few days ago. Now whether I go onto iTunes on my pc, iPad or iPhone it says that I have only purchased 119 somgs. These 119 I have been able to get onto my iPhone but the 100 or so others that I just bought I can't.

Any thoughts, the apple help desk people were a help but couldn't figure it out.

Have you tried physically synching your iPad with iTunes to at least get the tunes into your library? Then sync your phone? It's old school but should get the job done.

As for why the iCloud sync / transfer failed, I don't have an answer.
