Notation in GarageBand?

I use GarageBand for doodling - recoding with a midi input. I'd like to be able to view the score but it seems I can only view in list mode. Is that only available on the mac version? If so is there another app (preferably free or cheap) that would permit me to do so?

Bump. I see Finale are intending to produce a free app that would do this. Is there anything available now, though?
