newbie with new ipad 2

Hi all,
Just bought a 16gb Ipad 2. Already having problems though, as one of my art apps has frozen/locked up. This occurred when zooming out for some detailed artwork. Any suggestions as to how to sort the problem out would be appreciated. Thanks.

Restarting the iPad will usually fix this.

Hold down the power button until the power off slider appears. Slide it off. When the iPad finishes shutting down, hold down the power button again until the Apple logo appears.

Many thanks guys. Problem solved through itunes by un ticking the app, syncing the iPad, then back to iTunes to tick the app for syncing again.
Worked a treat thanks.
