Newbie silver surfer

I would like to say hi to everyone out there and I hope to tap into the wealth of experience you guys have between
you, I am a old silver surfer who is trying to keep up with technology and doing fairly well but I can't figure out how to
delete bookmarks which I saved in Safari. I would be grateful for any help. Kaylph

Open Bookmarks. Run a finger left to right, or right to left, across whatever bookmark you want to delete. You'll get a delete prompt.

Leelai, Thank you for your kind welcome, and I am finding already that their are many friendly and knowledgable people the responses and information are gratefully received. The web sites you mention sound a very good place to start looking and I certainly didn't know about them except for this app which I found by pure luck after trying to find the answer from other sources and it certainly the best by far. I am trying to work through the forums and so far have found many interesting articles to which I have put into practice but I still class myself as a complete novice but who knows maybe one day I might be able to help someone else.
