Am a senior cit but would be lost without my computer
Have had the ipad for about 1 year and really under utilize it, I use it mostly as an e-reader/book and for games like Scrabble. My sons have helped with certain things but I need help for just about everything and they are not around all the time.

I have some PFD's on my computer that I would like to put on to the ipad but can't quite make it. I am hoping to get the know how from this site.

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

There's a few way to get PDF's to the iPad. You can just email them to yourself and open on the iPad. You will need an app to put them in. iBooks is very good and free and another app is Goodreader. So after you email, just press on them and a box will come up To Open In and select iBooks, if that's the app you get.
There is another app called Dropbox which is great for transferring between devices, also free. You would have to put it on your computer and iPad. And lastly sync them to your iPad by just dragging them into the book section in iTunes. Hope that helps.
