I had had my iPad 2 for nine months before I really started using it. I have a stock iPad 2, stock iPhone 4, a Win7 machine with Outlook, and my wife has a MacBook Pro and Lion. I've been spending time learning about sharing information between all these platforms, really trying to push the envelope a bit. We share a calendar, and have private calendars as well. This has been very helpful in managing our time with only one legal driver. We have each of our email accounts installed on the iPad, so it's easy to travel with.

I found that there's a wealth of information about ios devices and iCloud sharing all over the net. The forums are valuable because I can research what people have done and ask a question if I need to.

    Thanks,

    Jonathan
