music on slideshow stops after one song

I created a slideshow, and used a playlist to play along with the changing photos. When I run it with my AppleTV to view the show, it will only play the first song and then stops the music while the photos continue to change as normal. I can also select any song on the playlist, and it will play that one, and quit. So I'm about worn out trying to figure out why the music wont continue on through as it should. I should also mention that everything works just fine if I watch the slideshow on my iPad2. Just goofs up while using AppleTV.
