In what must surely be a match made in heaven, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has announced that its Midway Arcade retro gaming app is now compatible with iCade, the arcade-style cabinet for iPad, which connects via Bluetooth to a full-sized joystick and buttons. The iCade support comes free to existing owners of the app as part of the latest update. Midway Arcade features 10 classic arcade games, tickets and virtual prizes, enabling the player to get their retro fill of the likes of Spy Hunter, Joust, Rampage, Defender and many more, as well as four skill-based games. Additional Midway classics can also be obtained as in-app purchases, including the Fantasy Game Pack with Gauntlet I and II and Wizard of Wor, and the Action Game Pack with APB, NARC and Total Carnage. Both packs cost €0.79/£0.69/$0.99 each. The game also comes complete with achievements and online leaderboards.
