Making and e-mailing a report to my parents on my iPad?

I don't know if this can be done, or if I can explain it or not, but if so, maybe someone can help me.

I am currently writing out by hand a daily report for my preschoolers each day. It is very time consuming. Is there an app or a way to make a "daily report" on my ipad and be able to fill it in for each child each day and then e-mail to my children's parents? I have no idea how to accomplish this, but it would be AWESOME if I could!
