i was starting a ipad case project, but i dont know how the ipad stays in case. magnets? help me

Are you looking to make something like the Smart Cover? I have a regular iPad case and the iPad stays in simply because the case is a tight fit.

How will the magnets hold the iPad in? Are you going to have to attach additional magnets to the bottom of the iPad? The metallic case of the iPad is non-magnetic for the most part, so magnetic adhesion won't work to the native iPad case.
