low framerate on divx playback

Hi all,

I have an ipad3 32gb wifi, and i experience trouble in playing video using Gplayer. When i put divx/avi movies on the ipad itself, i get a low framerate/shocking video playback. But when i play the same files streaming using 8player, it looks flawless. I tried some other apps for playing video files without having to convert to mp4, and i experience the same problem. So it's not specifically Gplayer that doesn't work well.

Any ideas what i can do about this? I have seen movies on the ipad2 that worked fine with this app!

Got any samples? I have only tried one on my iPad 3 and it played back perfectly - I ran it next to my iPad 2 to compare. Try a power cycle on the iPad and try again.
