I am a new owner of the ipad and just joined the forum. I would like to know if there is something I can buy that would help using the ipad outdoors in the sunlight?

Hello!

Im afraid to say that iPads are not the best in the sunlight as your probably aware, and so far I have not found anything that will make it any better either, the only thing I used to solve this problem was when I used the official Apple iPad case with the flip cover. I held the flip cover over the iPad screen as a sun visor which allowed me to read the screen but this does become a pain after a while.

They make an anti glare screen protector. Use that and turn the brightness all the way up and It works pretty good. Hope that helps.
