I bought my ipad2, the cheaper one that hasnt got the 32g.
Now I got it in los angeles, I live in Mexico City and I have a cablevision, internet phone company here. I have wifi in my house, but my ipad isnt working. Do I have to call or do something with them. Why can't I pick up anything, not even a choice of wifi. It just goes off. Nothing:mad: Please help. I am new at this, thanks so much.

Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!

I saw your problem with your iPad WiFi. Can other devices in your house receive WiFi OK? I'm assuming that you have WiFi switched on in the iPad 'Settings' menu, since you say that you're not even given a choice. If other devices in your house can receive the WiFi signal OK, then it's not a problem with the cable company or anything like that. Check to see that another device - perhaps your mobile phone or laptop - can receive the WiFi signal OK. If you don't have another WiFi device, take your iPad to somewhere else that there's a WiFi signal - perhaps a local coffee shop or mall - just to see whether the iPad can receive a signal there. That should determine whether the problem is with your iPad or with your WiFi signal at home. Get back to us when you've done this and I'm sure that we'll be able to help.

Hope to hear from you soon with your thoughts about the iPad.

Have fun and enjoy your iPad
