Hi, I'm new to this site, I'm from England and I've had my Ipad for about 2 years now so quite used to the way it works.
I've recently though got abit stick and need some help please. I lost all use of my computer when I was syncing my ipod & ipad to it when I got the grey screen of death lol. So for now my laptop is unusable. My family & I have just returned
from our holiday and had lots of pictures on my camera to download so I borrowed a genuine Apple camera connection kit. I put all of my holiday pictures onto my ipad but also had some other pictures too, I wanted to delete the holiday photos off my camera so when it said on the ipad delete all I pressed it. And oops it deleted all photos on my SD card, so my other photos have all gone. Does anyone know how I can get them back please..... Thanks you in advance.

Hi Planebird - welcome to the forum! :) Not easily if at all - first, do not use the SD card (like a HD, the files have likely been 'marked' for the space to be used, so writing new data to the card will certainly overwrite the images); second, you will need data recovery software (and a functional normal computer, I suspect) - simply google 'SD card photo recovery' for plenty of hits, such as HERE (now I've not used this software and cannot give a personal recommendation). Finally, professional data recovery services are available, but can be quite costly - good luck and let us know your results - this topic seems to come up ever so often. Dave

P.S. in the future, purchase a LARGE capacity SD card for your camera, and don't use that delete option from the iPad - just suggesting and a practice that I use.

Hi plane bird
I use a free Windows app called Recuva.
It works as long as you have not used the SD card in the camera since the mishap. I.e taking more pics may overwrite the ones you deleted.
Of course you need an operating PC.
