ipad 1 and original case bleeding onto ipad

I have an Ipad 1, and the official apple case for it.

Having just taken it out of the case for the first time in a good few months I'm quite miffed to find that the case dye has bled into the back of the ipad and covered it in pupleish stains.

I'm tempted to take it in to an apple store and ask for a replacement.

Has anybody ever had this issue before with the official case?

I do believe if you use our search button up top you may find some threads with this problem.

And I would take it back to the Apple store. They will deal. It is just their way.
