According to what I read, if you do the update through iTunes on your computer instead of OTA the problems with cellular function and Touch ID are avoided. The problems are apparently confined to the iPhone 6 and 6 plus.I suggest holding off on updating to iOS 8.0.1. With respect to some of the "fixes", Apple's made iOS 8.0.1 worse than iOS 8.0 GM. It's extremely buggy and no better than that of iOS 8.0 GM. The update breaks portions of the OS that were previously working on 8.0.
Correct, Apple has pulled the update after numerous problems were reported. The update isn't available any more.
The update isn't available any more.
That's because Apple pulled the update and is no longer signing it. You may as well delete the downloaded update and wait for the next one.
