    hi im paul from New zealand.

    I was wondering if you are able to use xcode to develop on the ipad2

    Not sure which way to take your questions, so I'll answer both possibilities.

    No, you can not run xcode on the iPad. There are a couple of apps that will let you write code, and at least one that will let you compile and run it on a remote server {CodeToGo}, but you can't actually compile or run code on the iPad.

    Yes, you develop for the iPad using XCode, preferably running on an Intel Mac with OS 10.5.x or later. That is the Apple's recommended tool for iPad development.
