How well are the AR apps doing?

Any idea about the market for AR apps? Are they doing well?

 

Hello and welcome to the forum! For those not familiar w/ the abbreviation AR = Augmented Reality - for those interested, check Link 1 and Link 2. From the second link, part of an opening paragraph quoted below - note the iOS & hardware requirements. I'm unable to explore this new Apple development on my older iPad but look forward to comments.
