Hooking up my ipad2 to tv

Hi

I have an iPad 2 and want to hook this up to my LCD tv.

I have a wired adaptor which plugs into ipad2 and has three RCA cables and a USB plug on the other end!

I plug the three RCA cables into the tv any my iPad and get a message on the iPad that the accessory is not supported.

Can anyone shed some light??

Sounds like you are trying to watch an HD Movie that you paid for through iTunes. This is a DRM error. It cannot authenticate that your TV has rights to play the movie. It really sucks and needs to be fixed. I'm hoping that iOS5 will fix this.

No not trying to watch a movie, just want to mirror my iPad screen to my big tv! Is there any easy way to do this?

Not 100 percent positive but I believe you can only do that with the Apple IPad connection kit.

If you have an iPad 2 you have to wait for iOS5.

Isn't it true you can screen mirror HD via airplay on IOS5?

If you have an iPad 2 you have to wait for iOS5.

Oh cool. That means you can play apps on LCD tv?

Think you might need an app like 2Screens to do this.....
